Retro Goal is a retro 90s-style football and team management game. Players can choose teams from top leagues and add outstanding players to become champions. Despite the classic 16-bit graphics and simple controls, Retro Goal is very deep in terms of tactics and team management.

How to Play Retro Goal

Choose Your Team

You will initially have a choice of clubs to manage. However, you will not start with a strong team. Instead, leading a club in the lower leagues and gradually moving up the rankings will be your challenge. You will get familiar with the management skills and work your way up.

Team Management

• Manager's Office: This is where you can change tactics, add, or remove players and coaches. You can also upgrade your stadium and team facilities using in-game currency (Bux).
• Player Management: You have the ability to recruit new players from the transfer list, view their details, and sign prospective players to further develop your team. 

Retro Goal Tactics and Formations

You can adjust your squad according to your needs and tactics. You can choose a strong attacking style or a tight defense, depending on the formation you have and the opponent you are facing.

Basic Controls

• Move and Pass: Use the arrow keys to move and pass the ball.
• Shoot: Press A to shoot, B to pass. To perform a strong kick, hold down longer.
• Short Pass: Press C to perform a short kick.

Tips for Success

• Invest in strikers from the start, as they are the main scorers, and create winning chances.
• Always maintain a flexible formation so that players can change positions and play more effectively.
• Don't forget to monitor the players' physical conditions to avoid underperformance.
